It would be nice if they would post their comments and interact with us.
it would get rid of all the speculation and they would get to know the individuals that they inevitably have to deal with.
I think most of us are trying to avoid operating is a way that makes a visit inevitable ๐
Folks are welcome to lurk, too, this is an open forum.

a visit is inevateable. as soon as an engineer or pd from a local station hears you, a visit is soon to follow.
whether legal or not legal you will get a visit.
it's the same with police officers these days. everyone is guilty until proven innocent.
i think this would change if people charged with upholding the law would be more in touch with the people ๐
Thank You,

While the EB is out looking under every rock for violations, the rest of the FCC is moving in a different direction. For example, the OET is poised to open up the entire TV spectrum from Channel 2 through 51 to unlicensed operation at up to 4 watts for a variety of purposes (see for example ET 04-186). Back in 2002, the Commission set up a Spectrum Policy Task Force that made recommendations to move away from "command and control" regulation of spectrum to increased use of unlicensed operation, auctions, and secondary markets for spectrum. That report is still available online at www.fcc.gov.
