Looking for some assembly help with my new Hamilton Rangemaster. I will have all the ground radials assembles. Just need help tuning the transmitter. Feel free to write: [email protected] or call: 602-625-3000. Willing to pay $50.00/hour to someone who knows what he/she is doing. Scott
I'm not in your area, but I would be happy to answer any questions and help you do it. It's really not very difficult. You could do it yourself.
I am running a Rangemaster here in the Chicago area.

The RM is really easy to tune and setup right. You just have to be a little more patient than (me) and actually follow the directions.. I am really bad at this kind of thing, since I like to hop right in and "just do it" ๐
However, the DVD that comes with the RM is pretty easy to follow...
I'm sure theres someone on this board who lives nearby and would lend a hand.. especialy if you added "free food" to the payment ๐
Scott,
I'm also not in your area..but was born in Arizona!
If your Rangemaster has the easy-tune module (which is optional) you will just need to use the tuning tool until you get the "green light", the green light that's the most to the right is
the one you'll want to use.
If you don't have the module, you'll need to use a voltmeter.
You'll want to have your transmitter already mounted up on the pole, tower or whatever before you do the tuning.
I just put my Rangemaster up in September..my range is not great because I'm way down in a valley..
But I also have a 50 foot tower to eventually put up. I just can't handle that by myself.
You can emal me at alanmccal[at]hotmail.com (edited by a mod to protect you from crawlers) also if I can answer any other questions.
Good luck!
