i have tried everything else to raise funds for a more modern and improved transmitter and have not done so well.

originally when this post was made it was a procaster. has been since changed to an iAM since i have found out the new iAM's can do asymmetrical modulation and are much cheaper than a procaster
i like the iAM/TH because they are certified with that coax and atu and ground via the ac adapter giving them a leg up over other transmitters in range and with the asymmetrical capabiltiy of the iam they are now better than other more expensive units.

looks like there are 2 of these v5's - one for broadcasting voice, one for our type of operation (unless you are runnging talk radio..)
one is 99 bucks, the other 195
the iAM has better fidelity and asymmetrical modulation the 99 buck one is voice quality and does not modulate into the positive at all. i have a v5 already. their quality is that of the II's. i want to do iAM's and ATU's
