it's my belief that when a station licensed or not files a complaint with the FCC about another station who is licensed or not then the complaining station should also get a full rectal to make sure they are in compliance with all the rules.
if this was implemented it would have one and/or two effects. it would drop down the amount of complaints against part 15's and it would also force licensee's to keep their act clean.
why should they get to make a complaint (and get a free pass on their violations) about another station because of an alleged rules violation when they are not complying with the rules?
just a thought.
Yes indeed, kc8gpd, that is exactly what should happen. After all, that's what the police do if they are called for help, they check out the person who is calling and sometimes even find a reason to arrest the one who asked for help.
I also believe the Constitution should be honored, the part where we "have the right to face our accuser." The way it's done now the complainer is kept secret, which is another reason why some people are so brazen about complaining.
The wall came down to free East Germany, but the East German style of government came right over here.
we're getting a taste of both countries Russia and Germany
Heh, then they would just send an anonymous complaint or use a 3rd party to file the complaint.
This discussion has brought an idea for a whole new social website named "behind their back.com"
It would be a place where people could say the things they wouldn't say to someone's face.

They are called facebook, twitter, linked in, chat rooms and forums.
