Being new to this medium, I am enjoying everything but one part, where do we find an antenna tuner unit for low power AM broadcasting ? Most call these auto antenna tuners but so far I've not found one. Can anyone give links to who sells them ? The main reason I want one is to help send a better enhanced sound (the manufacturer said I should use one) on my transmitter. It's suppose to mount between your antenna and transmitter, then you dial the clarified signal. I'm using a fiberglass antenna so I know the range isn't going to be much better but if the sound comes thru better it's worth it to me.
Yes..and no..depends.
The Talking House has an add on outdoor ATU unit which is certified for use with that transmitter under 15.219.
Using an ATU with any other transmitter would put you under the 15.209 rules, which specify field strength but no limit to using a coax or antenna height/size.
However 15.209 puts out less field strength than a setup operating under 15.219, but 15.219 specifies a limit in antenna height, use of feedline (coax or balanced feed) plus ground lead in all cannot exceed 3 meters, roughly 9.6 feet. 15.219 does put out a better field strength given a well built 3 meter antenna system over a well built ground radial system.

Incidentally. RFB is definitely our expert on thee things here.... I am (and you should be) very grateful for his advice!!
As for your original question.... look what I just bought... http://www.ebay.com/itm/330840599579?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Perhaps a better approach is to use an audio processor to enhance the sound. Unless the bandwidth of the antenna is very narrow (unlikely) the antenna doesn't affect sound quality.
In addition, some Talking House transmitters were designed for voice and have rather poor response for music. Others have improved audio characteristics. This varies with the model.
There may be more involved than a tuning unit to get what you seek. If you are willing, give us some more details on what hardware you have so specific suggestions can be made. AM is capable of producing excellent audio if the transmitter and audio chain bandwidth are adequate.
Edit to add: I just noticed via your attachment that you apparently are not using a Talking House so my comments about that don't apply. Nonetheless, you should research the audio performance of your unit.

talking house is part 15... I'll trade ya for one TH unit! (cant blame me for tryin)
