Might want your dedicated listeners and potential listeners to get one of these while they're still available. Cheap price, great radio. I tested one of these a couple months ago inside the local Senior Center building main room ... on the far end away from the station, with clusters of florescent lights, kitchen wiring, wireless sound system, computers, etc., in between ... and about half-mile away. The sound was dead clear with no noise ... sounded like the station was in the same room!

Think about one of these great radios before they're gone. We use ours for so many things.
As an operator monitor right next to the controls it provides very sensitive, excellent sounding reception.
As a portable with D-batteries it is ideal for going out and checking signal range.
I attach a Scosche FM transmitter to its audio jack while monitoring 1680, put the combo way out 100-feet away, come inside and tune to the utility frequency at 87.7 and set the AMT3000 for maximum strength.
I feed the very clean audio output into my mixer and record vinyl records coming over 87.7 from the other room.
It has also been used as the audio feed from 101.9 to the shortwave transmitter at 13.560mHz.
Point is, I could use at least five of these C.Cranes.
