Just discovered one of the most professoinally run Part 15 stations I think I've ever heard! They're streaming....go to Flaglerbeachradio.com and enjoy a "Beach & Island music" format. Also known as "Surf 17" (1700khz), they're on 24/7 with live djs, jingles, liners, promos, weather, network and local news, the works! Excellent reception to about 1/4 mile, good to 1/2 mile, disappears totally 2 miles out on a decent car radio. Good stuff!

Surf 1700 is owned and operated by a broadcast professional that I happen to know. He owns and operates several licensed stations (but none in Florida at this time.) He has the resources to do it right.
