What is the easiest way to post a photo here? I always put a picture on photo bucket and then post a link, but is there a more direct way like you do when sending emails and haveing an attachment?
Thanks,
Radio Joe
As far as I know the only photos which this site hosts are the user avatars.
You can use another photo hosting site and just paste the link in your text. There is some php coding which can be used to make the images appear in the post and/or to convert the URLs to descriptive phrases but this isn't necessary.
There is some more information on this here: http://www.part15.us/comment/21708
Photos are always a nice addition to posts.

I have in the past posted pics but only as a new, separate post using the Create Content - Image; "Image An image (with thumbnail). This is ideal for publishing photographs or screenshots." After that, replies can be added by others.
Lately, I can't use the HTML tags such as to make text into a link. Here is what happens:
This is <a href="http://mram.50webs.com">MY WEBPAGE</a>.
The code shows and the text is not linked.
I have used the post image function but the last time I did the images disappeared after a few days.
The most reliable way I have found is to use a hosting site with a link.

Do we know why the HTML tags are no longer working? URL's and email addresses do become links but you used to be able to "hide" the actual URL and the visible text became the link.
Here's a test...
Here's the link.
It is working. The code used is:
[a href="http://s6.postimg.org/v3em9gyqp/DSCN0372.jpg"]Here's [/a]
with used instead of ].
I copied MRAM's coded link from above and pasted it here:
This is MY WEBPAGE.
Seems to work...'Tis a mystery.
EDIT TO ADD: The "Text format" box on the post page shows "Filtered HTML" for me. Maybe yours is set differently? END EDIT

I have to agree, photobucket.com is by far the easiest way to add images to this and other forums. I also use photobucket to share images on my facebook account and i can do this mobile from my smart phone when i am away from wifi or home.
Interesting. I am using Firefox 20.0.1 for reference.
