I have a retail business and want to run a 90 second recorded message in a loop out as far as I legally can. What transmitter do you recommend?
Also, what is the farthest a Talking House would transmit? 1/2 mile? 3/4 mile? If so, what is the best way to set up a Talking House to do that?

You are probably on track with the Talking House. It's not as expensive as some of the others and will probably serve your intended purpose.
I've not used one of these myself, so will defer to others with experience to answer your installation question.
