Im using Sam 2 for automation, I love the way I am able to keep my station tight with audio at all times.. it works reliably for mp3's that are locally on my machine.
My biggest issue is when I want to stream a live stream, I get skipping (heard this is because sam2 doenst buffer the stream enough) and some streams are not streameble like ASX files (at least I have not been able to figure out how)
The scripting launguage in the system is some what foren yet some what understandable to me but I have been able to get some help from there forums..
So my question is will sam 3 fix my skipping problem, will it stream asx streams (windows media).. Or are there any other apps like SAM that will do streaming better..
This issue is whats holding me back from some good live programming right now.

isnt there a winamp plugin that plays asx? sam is compatable with winamp plugins..
Really , Sam is compatable with winamp plugins... THat opens a lot of doors.. I will have to check that out.. Now is there a plugin to add some buffer to the player?
