Does anyone have a Talking House external antenna for sale. I purchased my equipment on ebay and Talking House will not sell anything to me because I didnt buy from them. I would even be willing to send someone a money order with a little extra money for their trouble if someone with a Talking House account would purchase one for me. Help Please. Thanks
It must be nice to be in a position where you actually can afford to turn away business because "you didn't buy from us originally"! WTH difference does THAT make? Do they not want to sell to you NOW?
What an incredible attitude! So 2nd hand owners just do not exist to these people?
I bought my Rangemaster from another member of Part15.us. Keith Hamilton has been very helpful and has sold me extra crystals and accessories, and he even sent me the manual at no charge (which I did not receive with the unit). He never asked me who I bought my unit from-- he just sent me what I needed.
Likewise Phil of SSTRAN has also been very helpful after the sale. I would imagine that he gets hundreds of e-mail inquiries, yet he somehow finds time to respond.
I like to patronize businesses that provide excellent service to their customers! I can recommend both of these very highly.

I have a feeling that TH will soon be changing their tune. These things are appearing daily on eBay. With the Real Estate market collapsing, eBay is being flooded with these transmitters. There are currently about a dozen of these on eBay! A few months ago they were rare and quite expensive.
I think TH will soon figure out that with fewer and fewer "original sales" happening, 2nd owners can be a good source of sales dollars. Lots of these 2nd hand units will need power supplies, antennas, etc.
