Just curious as to the value of such an alleged, hearsay post to readers here -- when that "someone" has not been identified.
We would be looking in the wrong direction if M. W. Persons, Inc., actually does re-calibrate precision equipment.
In such case the "someone" would be of no consequence.

carl - sorry, but you have missed the point.
A careful reading of my earlier post in this thread responded to the statement of the OP "i was told by someone that they calibrate..."
The "someone" has not been identified, so far.
But rich,
The "someone" could prove to be misinformed, in which case knowing him or her would make no difference.
The only point is what someone said about the possible equipment calibrator.
either way it's a possible lead on someone who may still calibrate this vintage equipment. i may ask at some point if he does calibrate this older gear my bet though it it will be over $1k in cost if he does so it would just be an excersize for me.
