Was shocked to read this! No more Ramsey transmitters?
For all of us with this hobby I'm sure this is sad news.

Another door for the budding electronics enthusiast has closed. Sad news indeed.
How many technicians, engineers, physicists, scientists, and others who work with technology got their start by building KnightKits, Heathkits, EICO kits, Ramsey kits, and others? I suppose if a young person wants to pursue hobby electronics they can mow grass to earn money to buy stuff already made from the local discount store. What a learning experience!
But apparently market forces indicate that not many are interested in this anymore.

I was sad to read Ramsey is no longer producing kits.
My first impulse was to go to amazon and get any kits I had considered but not gotten around to buying.
There is another source of radio kits, http://www.northcountryradio.com/
They have one there similar to the Ramsey FM-25B...as kit or assembles in case.
