A short time ago I posted about the broadcaster planning to employ Part 15 transmitters to reach a minority audience. That was Cool to see Part 15 featured in a Professional Publication geared for Commercial Broadcasters.
Well, the latest issue of Radio World again features a Part 15 operation. Brian Scott, station XRB, 1650 kHz, serving Brownsburg, Indianna did a piece about his equipment setup for live remotes.
Check it out at RADIO WORLD ONLINE MAGAZINE page 30 of the February 9 edition. If the above link doesn't work, goto RADIO WORLD and at the bottom right of the home page click on the link to the online magazine and goto page 30.
Seems the folks at Radio World recognize our efforts. Perhaps more of us could offer articles. Maybe then we wouldn't seem quite so problematic and be accepted into the group.
Couldn't find it. Page 30 shows blank here.
And nice to see the press coverage.
The page display engine is an Adobe Flash-driven product, so users need to install the current ver of the flash client to view the magazine.

Or as an alternative you can download the pdf version of this issue.. http://www.nxtbook.com/fx/save/dbindex.php?book_id=__NXT__8c01ab3d2f649a6ecfd513eace64e1fb&sid=e0f73c3675d6c1a2ccea6eb4e045eeff&pdf=1
Well at least the local paper is making more of a reference to the station than the Radio World magazine is...which is focusing on a bluetooth remote setup.
Either way its good to see Part 15 get some sort of "good" word in big mainstream printed media.
