AM 1700, a Part 15 broadcaster, made the papers in Michigan.
Aparently, a vehicular accident affected their operations by destroying their storefront studio downtown.

I was just wondering if the crash put a static pop on 1700kHz that could be heard far away.
Glad everyone is safe and hope the station returns to normal operation.
So I am guessing that no-one within a mile of the accident was aware it happened until it hit the local paper the next day? (unless of course the station was able to broadcast its own temporary demise!)
