This could be the most important meeting yet held by the ALPB, something you won't want to miss, there's no real way of knowing, but I have a good feeling about it.
It's always possible that a major announcement will be made at one of these meetings, you just never know.
I'll be there when I work out the new time for me.
I've placed a new clock on The ALPB home page.
It displays the Universal Time Coordinate. So, if my calculation is correct-Eastern Standard Time is 5 hours behind UTC which means our Saturday 9:00 pm EST meeting will correspond to 02:00 UTC Sunday.
With the new clock you'll always have the UTC time visible and 02:00 UTC is the meeting time until we switch back to Daylight Savings Time in Ohio.
When Ohio goes back on DST the UTC meeting time will switch to 01:00 UTC even though the local time in Ohio for the meeting will still be 09:00 pm.
The first time I read the above description of the UTC meeting time, it made no sense and I said, "What?"
However the second time I read it, paying extra close attention, I understood it, found it to be correct, and canceled plans to read it a third time.
