EDST? Is that new?
Daylight Savings Time - DST. Eastern zone DST, EDST although EDT is the correct designation.
Even though I figured out that EDST means "Eastern Daylight Savings Time," my brain often reads it as "Eastern Daylight Standard Time."
To show both standard and daylight times simultaneously a clock would need to blink like a railroad crossing signal.

I have here an article published at slate.com "Daylight Saving Time Is Bad for Your Health."
I have not been able to get synchronized nor do my clocks like having their time-telling fiddled with... the clocks feel like you don't trust them. They are put in the position of not telling the truth twice a year.
We should buy new clocks for this ridiculous "saving" time game.
How can you save time if you're losing an hour?
I have plenty to say at the ALPB Meeting which is almost ready to start.
Since Florida relies heavily on tourism, there is a bill in the Florida legislature to keep Florida on Daylight Savings Time year round.
Say "Aye."
YES, YES, YES! Set it once and KEEP IT!
