The next regular TeamSpeak meeting of The ALPB will be Saturday March 1st at 9:00 pm Eastern Time.
Discussion will continue regarding changes to The ALPB Charter. Input from all members would be great.
If you can't attend the meeting please contact your Chairman for updates regarding changes to the Charter.
It was me who opened the floor on reviewing the ALPB Charter...
After more than a year with our firstdraft in place it seemed like we could consider some slight re-wording to make our self-description, which the charter is I think, even sharper. We've tentatively re-written the MISSION section, awaiting final ratification, and look forward to looking at the MEETINGS section at the next meeting.
All of a sudden I am thinking about raising an entirely new subject for discussion, in light of recent challenges to the peace and well-being of the Part 15 world, brought about by flame-throwers and name callers who function through bullying rather than polite discussion. What I think we might consider is a DIPLOMACY DEPARTMENT, whose function would be to establish peaceful relations with all Part 15 parties, somehow to get the juvenile behavior stopped.
The largest problem with disruptive behavior is that it may be coming from enemies of Part 15, sort of wolves in sheeps clothing, pretending to be Part 15ers, but implanted for the purpose of wrecking things.
This might be the best time ever for you to join the ALPB and contribute your ideas on how we can protect and promote the best hobby on earth... Part 15 radio.
online and in living color...ermm living audio?
As long as my internet holds out that is, we are still dealing with rather shotty internet service.
It's a Thursday morning in the polar vortex and I got to thinking.
February is near its abrupt end, this is no leap year, and March 1 is already smashing its way on the horizon.
Oh, then I remembered that Saturday night is the Meeting.

February is a done deal. March starts now, and the ALPB will be gathering for radio talk.
If you have things to say about radio or would just enjoy hearing others talk about it, we would like to have you join.
Bob Felmly will tell you how to rig your computer to use the Teamspeak audio-meeting-room. If I can do it, anybody can.
