Alex Jones and GCN Programming

This link is appreciated, censoredship, and I just spent some time studying it.

It appears to apply to AM, FM and broadcast stations, but says nothing about streaming internet stations, although it does not expressly exclude them.

Nor does it expressly exclude legal unlicensed stations, but the automatic offer of "in license market" exclusivity does after all imply "licensed stations".

Naturally it would be unfair for a part 15 station to obtain "market exclusivity" of GCN programs because that would, in effect, block the programs from being heard in most of the market.

The contract requires a separate contract for each station being fed with the programs, and I wonder how that applies to me, because I call all my frequencies by the same identification. Perhaps I should give a different name to each frequency, although for part 15 there is no such requirement.

If somebody submits this contract I hope you'll come back and report the results.

I'll be filling out a form as soon as either the weather breaks for good (spring) or a week of good weather (pre-spring tease). Need that time to get experimenting more with the transmitter and get it a permanent installation home.

Bunch of GCN programs I am interested in broadcasting (Jones maybe, health shows, gardening shows).

The folks at GCN are very nice to deal with.

They sent me permission in writing to carry Alex Jones on my Part 15 AM a few years ago, with the stipulation that I should not break any federal rules in the process. (i.e. run a legal Part 15 installation)

Yes. I don't know how many of your remember when Alex Jones would refer to "micro-power" FM rdaio as part of his global network. Then suddenly it stopped.

I remember hearing a show when Alex was describing how to hook up a big antenna wire so an FM transmitter would get out better, and I bet someone advised him not to give such advice.

I've already posted somewhere about how some of Alex Jone's views are not compatible with my station, but what he does well he does very well...

Since the Ferguson story Jones has hired several good reporters that get sent to the scene with live streaming cameras and capture as-it-happens scene coverage.

I can tolerate his lengthy infommercials while he pitches his fake health supplements, but the right-wing-Christian preaching interrupts whatever I'm doing so I can hit the big OFF switch.

For awhile I edited his shows to remove the pink-slime, but it's too time consuming.

What I'll probably end up doing is picking an hour of good Alex Jones once a week.

I'm no fan of Alex as a person since he basically stole the network out from underneath John Statdmiller 10 years ago but the programming is well produced. Republic Broadcasting has a decent lineup and very Part 15 friendly.

John Stadtmiller created Republic International which went on to become GCN after Ted Anderson and AJ swept him out of it. Most is public knowledge but I wouldn't want to accidentally say something that isn't. I'll leave it at that as I don't want to air too much dirty laundry.

They can all be difficult to work with as personalities are strong.

Dr. Bill Deagle has returned to Republic as of this week and Mike Rivero returns May 2. There's a couple more in the works. Sounds promising.

I'd love to broadcast Rense but he lacks a full schedule and some of the other shows on his network might get my equipment lassooed.

Probably reacting to my cricisms of Alex Jones, Rich Powers in # 9 said: "Carl, seems you even said you were to start airing him again!.."

And that's true, I am airing him again, and like I said elsewhere I tried editing a weekly version minus the hallucinations, but that was too much work so now I run the entire show. This morning I awoke to Alex Jones with special guest Man Cow.

In frantic voices they claimed the death of Prince was a murder to keep Prince from exposing what he'd learned about the master plan of The New World Order, and this information went side-by-side with a reminder that chemtrails expose populations to chemicals that make them docile so they will not resist gun control which Chelsea Clinton is now promoting on behalf of her mom, Chelsea looking more these days like a trusted Clinton aid and less like Bill, (a twist on your daughter looks like the mailman).

I'm not sure it's healthy to listen to this stuff but Alex Jones is telling me that I need his Vitamin B12 Supplement and that might be true.

And don't forget to buy his "powerful" videos!
