Highly probable, but could have been a glitch in the seller's computer causing localized lag...ie type something and it doesn't appear on the screen until a couple or so seconds later..like having too much running at the same time leaving very little resource left for anything else.
Who knows.

I remember something like that happening though. It wasn't due to my machine running a bunch of stuff, but was logged into a forum that had so much junk on it, mostly java stuff and flash that it often took a bit of time for the whole site to load up, much less try to post because of the massive delay caused by the overloaded site. Don't think they ever solved the problem but it was the reason why I stopped using that site!
I think one time ebay was the same way..had too much ohh ahh garbage on the site which made it practically useless due to that garbage loading down the browser!
