Interesting radio.
No volume control?
All the promotional language doesn't mention anything about the available audio options.
No mention of the band-spread: is it 530 to 1600 kHz like the old days?
No dial face. How do you know where you are tuning around blind?
They are still around!...thought they were long gone.
This looks like the radios that were around before the superhet designs came.

I had forgotten Heathkit got rebooted
A kind of odd page there, going from white to aqua green as you go about your reading, maybe they got an art student in.
With the single gang variable capacitor, that reminds me of the kit I built once, that used a Ferranti chip, I think it was ZX414? It was a newer version of that chip though, 3 transistors, and the front end tuner circuit so lightly loaded that the Q and selectivity is high.
That's what I think of when I hear TRF. Might be like that, with refinements that make it good for wideband local reception. Add CQUAM! 🙂
This appears to be a kid's project but not at a kid's price. Interesting that the electrical specs are TBA.
I once built a TRF radio ( http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/allied_rad_knight_2_transistor_radio_kit_83y262.html) with an open tuning cap and two transistors and an earbud. The performance was terrible. There is a reason the world went superhet.

I'd like to see the Heatkit info but the site seems to be down for me.
I like the paper capacitors.
