For the older members who might remember me, I hosted "Free Thinker Radio" from 2014- 2016. Many of the ones who took part in the alpb teamspeak meetings will remember me as well. Now, I've been gone for quite a while, and still have to get used to the new forum layout. Oddly enough, I write this post here on 9/3/2019, and if I remember correctly, I joined the ALPB and subsequently these forums in the summer of 2013. So, it's a little over six years for me with you guys. I feel like a kid returning home from college lol.

Anyway, quick life update for those who care. I'm beginning my final two semesters of college at Rowan, going for that bachelors in Radio and T.V broadcasting. I helped with installing the new version of audiovault (AV Flex) at Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS, since I was renewed as the program director of the station. It took all summer, but WGLS is better than ever now. I also checked the old email for Free Thinker Radio and was surprised to find an email from a listener who heard the show on Bob Femly's LPFM WCFI. Forgot those still get airtime! I was such a horrible broadcaster back then, and my voice wasn't nearly as trained. Gotta love it though.

Finally, I hope to stay in touch with you all and become active again on here. I've been very active on radiodiscussions which is a forum for discussion of radio market stations, like the big ones. Good stuff over there, but they frown upon us hobbyists, well some do. For those who know, WHAR (my hobby station) is still on air, recently on July 17th of this year celebrated its seventh anniversary. We've upgraded to using RadioDJ, with fully automated log generating and automatically IDing at the TOH. I'll go more in depth into my experience with RadioDJ and stereotool 9.11 in a different post.

Good to be back!

Congratulations man I hope you do well in school just got a little while to go.

Though my hobby station is small I enjoy doing it. Just got a brand new DJ Mike the other day it's the FiFine K669 which is a cardioid microphone for about $31 on eBay. It works a lot better than the boom mics that are on the headsets.

Working on other improvements of our station as well. Anyways Keep On Rocking
