It's very dark now as the longest night of the year has started before 5 in the afternoon. We have reached the Winter Solstice when one of two futures awaits us: 1.) Either the earth will continue a trajectory away from the sun and propel us into deeper space, cold and blackness, or 2.) We will u-turn back toward summer for longer warmer days. Until we know for sure is a season called Winter.
