Rich Powers asks about post numbers

As far as I can remember there was a change of ownership of this forum when it changed from Part 15.us to Part 15.org and JP took over as owner. Some time during that transition and a revamping of the forum some things may have been lost in the shuffle.

But I can't figure out that now I looked at Rich Powers most recent posts here now and the last 4 posts all say 747, in fact I just noticed that my posts and Carl's have also the  same number for each post! Go figure. Something isn't calculating right. It says my last post was # 1323. And the last few posts I looked at are all the same number. But I haven't made that many posts. But I have no answer for this.

No, that's right, the numbers all would have reverted to zero after the crash or switchover to wordpress. So it started all over again. As for the numbers being the same in both older and newer post - that's correct, it's a total count, not a post number 

 

It makes sense now.
