I notice there's a Blue Angels Air Show taking place near me this weekend. It's $26 per adult and $14 per kid. Back during the 1980s it was free to attend such events. I don't plan to go to this one coming to the Savannah area (though I might) but I've seen some pretty good air shows of similar jets take place right here off the coast of Tybee a few years ago.

But only the reason I bring it up here is - Not now, but it reminded me these Blue Angel events during the 1980s were covered locally using part 15 AM transmitters (most likely the Audio-Sine models, but I haven't confirmed that). This 1985 article only briefly mentions it, but I have similar articles of other air show events that mention the same
