Some progress has been made in my hunt for a specific app (Audioengine Control).
When I brought up apkmirror.com on the phone's Wi-Fi it was so crowded with ads and extraneous unwanted software that I could neither download it nor get the app I wanted.
apkpure.com had better results. I got it installed and was able to download the app, only problem now is that I can't find the Audioengine Control App that it appeared to download.
We Win!
Yes, at almost midnight I am pleased to say that Audioengine Control App is installed and ready for use.
Thank you for the help in getting to this point.
@artisan-radio I assume the camera and other things work without a phone carrier. Can this make a video in real time like the camera can with audio? And then post to youtube? This is not a brand name and was $90 new from amazon but should have basic functions standard on all of them. Was just thinking if I could do my walk around reception video like before with this? I should just stick to the camera. Turn it on, select make video and it's ready to go filming with audio. I don't think it's that simple on the smartphone even if it does do it.
The make of this is Blackview, a cheapy. How much do you think I'd spend on one of these!
Yes, the camera and in fact, most functions would work without wifi or a sim card. you would have to be connected to something to transfer the video to youtube.
