This guy has made $3 million so far by publishing over 1500 ai- written instructional books.
"..He's using AI to generate thousands of books, aiming to make a ton of money from them, with little consideration for the quality of the book's content. After all, nobody can write 1500 good books, even if they intend to do so..."
Personally, I think that's disgusting.
You are right it is disgusting. This whole world is disgusting. Millennials have destroyed this world. The human element has gone and they don't care.
Machines create pop music and now books. Why am I not surprised. Why will this make this guy rich...because like pop music being all synthesized for the last 30 years, including the voices of the singers with autotune, they get rich and famous so it will be the same for this guy. Because no one cares how it was created. That's the sad reality.
This world left me behind a long time ago.
"AI", similar to desktop publishing, and anyone uploading their music to a Spotify type site, because it makes publishing so democratized it vomits out a lot of bad work. The AI thing will just make everyone their own robot propaganda machine.
Without the easy ability to publish a work the gatekeepers too publish a lot of rubbish. We need editors and spell checkers who know how to spell.
Then again, Part 15 stations have this potential to do a lot of rubbish should the hobby become popular.
I reckon there are few teachers anymore that will tell Johnny, "what, are you gonna carry a calculator with you everywhere?" when it comes to mathematics, much less to having AI on their wrist.

I remember when I when the digital calculators came out in the 1970s. They were cheap and really popular for awhile. But students were prohibited from bringing or using them in class. I wonder when that changed.
