Wait a minute.. Jpjanze is Rev. Robert P. Chrysafis?
I never realized that. I recall his involvement in many discussions, but I never knew they were one in the same!
All this time I thought Jpjanze was a relative newcomer, never really knew who the hell he was or where he came from.. Now I know, he didn't come from anywhere, he been here all along!

I was in limbo somewhere whenever the change had taken place here, and for quite some time I've been curious, when and who is this Jpjanze is that bought part15.org and an administrator here, yet seldom present and seemly rarely post.. who is this guy and what's he want with part15.org?? --- That's what has rattled around in the back of my head for a while now.

I just noticed and old post where he signed his name, otherwise I'd still be ignorant.
Mystery is solved.

I feel a lot better now.

😷 Also feel a little like an idiot.

Isn't Jpjanze the owner of this forum? He is! Robert Chrysafis is a forum member. I did some liners for his station.

jpjanze owns Haro Media, located here in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

I have no idea of the motivation behind the purchase, now years ago.  He has stated to me  that while he is not a Part 15 broadcaster, he has always had an interest in radio.

Thanks to him, this site is the oldest low power Forum existing today.  All others are mere copies.

@artisan-radio What I'm saying is he's been at this forum all along, I know he as active here back when I first came here, it was still part15.us back then. He was already active on this forum 20 years ago when I first came here... but I never connected Japnaze as being Robert Chrysafis.

Till now.

His original user name here was kc8gpd. I didn't remember that, just went and found it. What I do remember was two regular posters here who both were Reverend's - the other guy being Rehma Radio. It was the kind of thing you notice, it's kid o stark, two preachers chatting it up in a part 15 forum.. No, they never preached in the forum or anything, but  that's why I remember him being here so well.

Funny, figured his ear would have started itching by now...

@richpowers While not a reverend, I have been a youth pastor, and an evangelist for several decades. The later has largely to do with why we lived where we did in St Loo. I reckon poor old Carl figured that out at some point and seemed displeased. I told him I was kicking around station affiliation with a church.

Several of you know my real name from my ham call sign on the station website. One of you very recently used my first name in a post and not the handle I've used since bulletin board daze. Btw I'm ok with that for what it's worth.
