I have Firefox and the stream was good at this end. Sounded fine. Good format but not my cup of tea for longtime listening but that's just me, not the format. Good mix and a good hobby station offering a real alternative to the same old mainstream stuff on commercial stations.

How are you obtaining the necessary copyright licenses for music on the stream? The terms of use for your stream provider do explain that they do not provide nor offer licenses for copyright material, so you either must own the copyrights for everything you're streaming or have properly licensed the content. They suggest the use of CC (Creative Commons) music. This would rule out any typical copyright music by contemporary artists. Were you able to find a new source for the licenses necessary? And how is the necessary data for the licenses aggregated?

Which makes complete sense. I believe Live365 is one of the last, convenient, legal ways to stream with service and licenses all in place in one package. Hence my curiosity about the above stream.
I can't remember why, but when I had considered streaming my station (which I haven't yet done and may never do) there was some reason I ruled them out for meeting my needs, but off hand I don't remember why.

Live365 has two modes of service. One of those advertising which will save you on your licensing fees. You need to have 4 minutes of triggered add files going per hour. I usually do mine at 45 minutes past the hour. I simulcast my station on a.m. but hey I'm only here's the PSA files. I simulcast My Stream on to the am part but the am transmitter gets the direct output from my computer into the audio processor.
My sponsor runs a very high grade Auto DJ server in which I relay to Live365 because Live365 Auto DJ is puny the auto DJ I have has a storage of 100gb. Live365 I think is only five definitely not enough for a real album-oriented rock station if something goes wrong with my stream and I have to use their backup.
My sponsor pays well over $100 per month on licensing for my station alone. More than $1,200 per year. That's not including the massive Auto DJ server that he has given me and tied it to Live365 so that my station is a serious non-repetitive album-oriented rock station. You can tell that my sponsor is definitely into this stuff as much as I am and he is one of those folks that are trying to start the album Rock preservation Society.
It does work out pretty good because I can do part 15 and stream through life 365 using this type of Technology. But like I said if you're serious about what you're doing it's going to cost you one hell of a fee that's why I have a sponsor.
I operate two streams with Live365. One is the LPFM and the other is mine. Both are ad free which costs more money, but not that much.
Are you set up for unlimited listeners? I know the station that I run is.
Mine is also set up or I could give out the links on TuneIn or different radio directories. So I am not stuck on just live 365.
