The Streaming Tourist

In recent weeks I've been touring tens-of-thousands of online radio streams looking for living intelligence.

By "living" I'm thinking about an actual live voice on the stream talking in real-time, but all of it comes from automatic playlists.

By "intelligence" I'm wondering about something original and unlike standard fare heard on any AM FM radio, but it's essentially an imitation of what's already available.

The entire streaming landscape is zombified and offers little despite great quantity.

We may talk about "AM revitalization" but what's even more devitalized is the land-fill called "streaming radio".

It's a dead horse going unkicked.
