Looking for information on your process to screen calls and get them to the host in some semblance of order that matches the show's flow.
For background, We only have 4 lines available, with a 5th for a hotline.
For awhile I hosted a call-in show for a commercial station and was the only person on duty, so I took the calls "blind" without any screening. There was a 7-second delay which was protection against unwanted speech.
I was a big fan of internet station KPAH in Pahrump Nevada which tried a live call-in show over the internet, but unless they pre-arranged to have people call there was almost never a live caller so they stopped trying.
A call-in show on a part 15 low power station would almost require family members and next door neighbors to do all the calling, which might work for 20-minutes per week.
I've used Skype or Discord as an alternative to phones for podcasts. I record and edit the Skype or Discord audio with Audacity, and I've aired reruns of some of my podcasts on my Part 15 station. The sound quality isn't that much different than a full power station's phone calls.
