I should probably throw the pitch in here as it's been a while. For anyone who doesn't know, the Oompah Hour is a 1 hour show of polka music, all sourced from vintage vinyl (however don't be misled, polka music is alive and well with thousands of current, modern performers making new music). The show is absolutely free to download and listen to, broadcast, or whatever. A new show is updated every Sunday morning, and a playlist is provided. If you'd like to use it on your station go ahead -- I appreciate a quick email should you decide to use it then I'll add you to the show mailing list. You only get one email a week, confirming the new show is up and including the playlist. And should there be any sort of polka emergency you'll be notified. The show has been running over 5 years and has never missed a week. it does contain three advertisements two of which are for non profit groups, the International Polka Association and the World of Accordions Museum, the other is for a local record store here, which you are welcome to delete from the program if you can't air commercial advertising (such as a LPFM). The show is recorded live with no editing or fixing of what occurs, so it's like "live" radio although it's recorded for distribution. Gives it that extra appeal. Unlike similar shows ALL records and introduced -- it's not some crappy computer generated show. It's live and spontaneous. The show is uploaded to the exact same link every week so it you're using software or automation program that automatically downloads programs it's easy -- cause it's the same link every week:
