We note the passing of Father Frank Perkovich of Chisholm, Minnesota most famous for making the "Polka Mass" a worldwide phenomenon. He took Catholic Mass songs and set the lyrics to old time music. He recorded an album, followed by a second volume, that became one of the best selling polka albums of all time. This weeks show includes just one of those songs. I don't like to include sad things in the show, but it's also more of a celebration of his life and work as well.
After that the show takes a turn for the silly. Not sure how that happened, but a good time will be had by all.</span>
