Greetings all!
Here's your weekly Oompah Hour update email that I wasn't sure I'd be able to send out this morning!
I did indeed have my left knee replaced last Monday morning, and I did get home Wednesday and have started on the bumpy and painful road to recovery. It's going to be another week or so before I am physically able to get into a car -- at least by myself. It took 3 people to get me into the car to come home! But I can get around in the house with a walker or a cane, and I have physical therapy folks coming to the house each day to work with me on exercises to
get me mobile again. Oddly most of the recovery of course is recovering from the surgery procedure itself as opposed to the knee. Look up some videos and watch how a total knee replacement surgery is done if you can stomach it. I couldn't watch. But my kids did. Eeeeew.
