The strange holiday known as "Thanksgiving" is coming up, and we have no Thanksgiving music to program!
But a television event might give us something to be thankful for after all, and KDX plans to seek permission to relay the audio on part 15 AM & FM.
Well, actually you DO have Thanksgiving music I bet!
"Jingle Bells" was published in 1857 specifically as a song for THANKSGIVING not Christmas!
Originally titles "One Horse Open Sleigh". A sleigh on snow makes no noise. To help prevent accidents at blind intersections and when riding at night (with no headlights of course) course harnesses were fitted with sleigh bells to sleigh drivers would be aware of each other hearing the bells of approaching traffic!
So, there's your trivia for the day.

Thank YOU Tim
Neat story about "Jingle Bells".
To keep the song alive following Thanksgiving we could use the sub-title "Let's Go Shopping in the Snow At Night".
Thank of the Day
We give Thanks to the unknown wordsmith who coined the magic word RADIO.
Based on the clever contraction - RADiate audIO.
