"There is something new under the sun!!
A radio format dedicated to laughter! A format that programs
COMEDY ... 24 HOURS A DAY!!
It’s the world’s first ... it’s the world’s ONLY!
WHY???
Because laughter is universal. Because it’s something everyone likes to do.
Because it’s pleasurable. And, because it appeals to EVERYBODY, of all age
groups, from 12 to 112!
From an entertainment viewpoint, we think it....

I guess this was a fly-by-night comedy programming source from the 1980s, "F.Y.I from the F.B.I - Now there’s laughter 24 hours a day!"
"The FBI - Funny Button Inc. 24 Hour Comedy" cant find much referenced about them, but it appears to market OTR comendy material. Here's a 10 page advertising flyer with more info including a time clock and their mail-order subscription post card.

Not the first. There was a comedy 24/7 AM station in Toronto at 820 for the last couple of years but have since changed to multicultural.

@mark You missed the part about it being during the 1980s. It was some kind of a franchise satellite feed for stations.

Broadcasting Jul 28 1986, p. 77:

...Also on the horizon for Parkway -with a planned September start-up is Funny Button Inc., a 24-hour, satellite-delivered comedy programing service. Funny Button is a co-ven-ture among the company, its president and Bob Cobbins, former president of WJOK(AM) (now WMTG), which had a 24 -hour comedy format. The service will be available six days a week (Monday through Saturday) on Westar IV for a monthly fee on a cash and barter basis, with Funny Button retaining four minutes and local stations receiving eight minutes plus one optional minute per hour. Stations must take a minimum of four hours a day.

The old brochure list the programming
