Listening to the standard fare of Christmas carols pushed upon us at this time of year can get tiring.
To combat this, I've put together, for my own enjoyment, a playlist that is decidedly different.
In addition to reindeer, there are dogs, cats, frogs, pigs and even rubber bands (sorry, but I couldn't think of any other place to put that). There's also plenty of dancing, surfing, alcohol, politics, monsters, aliens and much, much more.
I'm making the stream available to those interested. While there are no guarantees how long it will stay up, here is the link: http://65.110.28.103:8000/ArtisanRadio.mp3
Liked you do an alternative to the norm.

Just added 50% to the playlist. More alternative Christmas - can your mind take it?
I'll be running this stream all day Christmas Eve & Christmas.
Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that prolonged exposure to The Artisan Radio Alternative Christmas could damage your brain.
This could be JUST what KLW needs! Oh, man! Here I was going to kick back and relax...now I wanna be naughty! Haaaa haha! My neighbors ain't gonna know WHAT'S up! Hee heee!

Just remember that there will be people getting NEW Stereo’s and Internet Radio’s so if your ON AIR (AM/FM) this is a good time to be discovered. Some folks may for example want to know how their Radio is performing and may want to hear what normal music that they listen to sounds.
Because so many stations receivable in Deltaville already are playing Christmas (and 103.9 is doing Rock Christmas songs) I’m playing regular Album Rock. I thought about doing a Rock Christmas show and still may put a few in but my station may be the only one playing Rock lol how about that.
Now in other areas you’d be hard pressed to find good Christmas music. But even 99.1 in Gloucester, VA is doing a great job of that.
I occasionally put together a show that I call 'Slightly Bent'. The programming that I play on the show is, well, different. From pure comedy bits through to songs that are truly awful (which makes them great).
I was in the process of gathering stuff for a 'Slightly Bent Christmas' show. But after finishing that, I realized that I had over 15 hours of material, and that it was going to be difficult to only do one, or even two, shows.
So, in keeping with my philosophy of doing as little work as possible, I decided to put everything into a playlist, and do the Alternative Christmas.
I'm glad that some are enjoying it.
