Let me work up a step by step guide...
Had to put on my basic hat and open dos,got busy and got all my downloads running there now.Uninstalling all that other junque! I even get americansunriseradio and weather watcher working there, thanks a million!
Just one last detail, can the dos window close itself when its done?
Regards,Lee
Yes, if it's executed from event scheduler it will run the batch and it will open and close the window while the batch file runs since it needs access to the command interpreter.
It would not close the window after a download, windblows default ,I assume. You have to go into the batch file's properties and set it to close after a download, otherwise,it grinds to a halt and doesnt download on schedule. I'm happy because it doesnt use many resources and doesnt make the playbck skip..... Regards,Lee
Never seen that happen. Glad you got it figured out.
I'm looking for a better way to schedule the downloads but a couple scheduler packages (*NOT* music schedulers, but system event schedulers) are pretty bloated.
