I almost just bought this on ebay - then paused - pondered - decided not to, then changed my mind and almost hit "buy it now"... Then changed my mind again. It looks like a great buy, but I know I would rarely if ever use it. I haven't even used the one I have in about 7 years, so I'm not going to spend $50 on one now even though it's a quality bargain.

So here's what looks like a bargain for anyone interested, there's more pictures and even a short video clip

Nope. I'm an idiot, not what I thought it was, it's limited to a selectable 37 channels between 72-76MHz https://www.fullcompass.com/common/files/648-TX37Brochure.pdf

Still cool, interestingly the specs say " no line of sight restrictions"

You know actually I don't feel so silly for posting the wrong kind of fm transmitter now, because I didn't actually occur to me till now, but I notice a discussion going on at HB about using some very similar gear as the above Genter transmitter specifically as a studio-transmiter link https://www.hobbybroadcaster.net/community/index.php?topic=20067.msg85952;topicseen#msg85952 can only see the first post but it appears to be an ongoing discussion and I can see why, it's actually a very good  idea if your needing a wireless STL. All you need is one receiver to feed the xmtr wither the above Genter/Aphex excited would ensure a nice quality signal is being provided. Probably be a lot better, easier and cheaper than other alternatives like setting up a microwave line of sight links or something
