Ordered this from Amazon to put between the computer and the schlockwood for better audio control with the Talking Sign. Can run from computer power from USB.

I may have to get one for my station. I've been looking for one. Is there a brand name, I can search for?

@wefr Unfortunately Amazon doesn't let you link product pages but I have this one
https://www.sybausa.com/shop/ce-products/usb-dac-headphone-amplifier/stereo-tri-tone-control-pre-amp-and-headphone-amplifier-sd-dac63106/

But thought to get this other one as it is looks more versatile with 7 band EQ to see how it works as not just bass mid and treble. It's just called the EQ-7 but no brand. If you check amazon and just search headphone amp with EQ you will come to it and a few others too.

I was told I could use guitar pedal equalizers also as we are dealing with mono with AM. Some of them are good quality and expensive and have 7 or 8 frequency bands.

This one is cheap but will see if any good.

I'd be curious to know how much noise/hum you get.

$22.53

Brand: pizarra EQ-7 Car Audio Headset Amplifier 7-Band EQ Equalizer 2 Channel Audio Mixer Equalizer Digital Sound Equalizer

Is that the same one?

I dont know how to copy a link in the Amazon app, but if you just go to it in your browser the link is easy to copy

Yes the same one. You can't link anything from Amazon here for some reason. The message comes on after post says unable to link. Amazon must not allow linking to their products.
I don't know how good this cheapy will work but can always return. I had to save picture and then attach from computer.

@richpowers That was a piece of junk! Returned.
Also the Talking Sign wasn't that good after all and after operating for a while the audio got muddy and distorted sounding and I knew was many electrolytic capacitors that were too old but they are all little surface mounts and many of them and I wasn't going to take on this job so I gave them both to a second hand electronics store here in Toronto and I got a Procaster. I am currently using the processor included with it and a Behringer EQ, much better. Excellent audio.

@richpowers Don't know what you are seeing there? Yes that's Zara.
A rectangular window on the computer screen? Do you mean on the left?

Oh good grief.. Now I see, it's your search bar! I thought it was some kind of timer or jingle player window or something.

Nevermind
