Goodness, where did you stumble across "India Mart"? This kind of trainer is a fun idea. Goes to show the seriousness, culturally, that they take in teaching a concept. Website is full of devices like this. I haven't converted rupees to dollars and I'm afraid to do so.
@centinel I was googling "AM transmitter" and that picture turned up (I think I bought a hand carved chess set from India Mart about 12 years ago, I know it came from India anyway).

I've never even heard of a "Am Radio Trainer", but a google search turns up all kinds of different models from various companies, curiously none in the US or Canada.
