Comfortable Schedule

September 29, 2011 by Carl Blare

KDX has found a schedule that enjoys the best of both worlds.

KDX has found a schedule that enjoys the best of both worlds.

At night and in the morning it’s so peaceful to have complete silence, without the racket and yack of morning radio & TV. Also, it’s a joy to hear the carrier first come on over the ambient radio background noise, and the reverse at night, when the carrier shuts down and leaves only the far away buzzle (a new word).

HOWEVER, acting big and important works out on weekends and holidays when KDX goes 24-hours with solid around the clock programming.

There are 7-billion people in the world who right now are missing the great programming on KDX, although some of them are listening to your stations. But think of how well off they are to have such great programs to miss.

    Schedule
Adding MM to the lineup will vastly improve that schedule with valuable and informative content.

    Agreed
It was while listening to KROCKS Zero-Point-Radio, the RFBurns Flagship Part 15 Station, that I heard the program Media Monarchy. It is a remarkably well produced way of laying out the weeks news in a seriously entertaining way with humor. It’s brilliant. It can be heard live on KROCKS on Friday, and now re-run Saturday on my Part 15 Group.

I appreciate and agree that it will beautifully anchor the weekend schedule. Almost none of the very quality weekday news producers have anything on the weekend, but MM gathers it all up and presents it like a great stage show with music track. Wow.

      Other Valuable Programs
I also recommend The Corbett Report with James Corbett..found at http://www.corbettreport.com .

The Corbett Report is another excellent independent news source put together by James Corbett, who lives in Japan. He publishes not just a podcast, but also various videos and interviews, including making regular appearances on programs such as the Alex Jones show, RT (Russia Today), and various other alternative news programs.

Both James Corbett of Corbett Report and James Evan Pilato of Media Monarchy produce a collaborative program called “New World Next Week”. This is a short 15 minute recap of the week’s most interesting news items and is published once a week on Thursday.

Recently it has come to pass that alternative media news and alternative media outlets such as K-ROCKS and others, are exceeding the main stream media reach which just goes to show that the public wants more than just straight jacket grey scale no flavor content. Right now we are in a very unique position in the “Information War”. We do not have big corporate thumbs over our operations dictating what we will air. People want information they can understand and use in their daily lives.

Awareness of what is really going on is the key to getting through the tough times. And real awareness will not be found on the nightly news on the big 3 + 3 main stream outlets, not even the local talent show that comes on at 5,6 and 10 can attain the level of pure open source information like alternative news and media can.

Those of us who have been a part of the alternative media and news outlets for the last 15 years have built a solid foundation and following. More is needed and the more there is, the more variety for the inquiring minds.

As James Evan Pilato quotes..”Don’t hate the media…BECOME the media”!

        Well Said
Well said, RFB. If it’s not being done well by the big players, then we can do it well, a billion small players taking over.

Has anyone ever named their company “Major Media Corporation?” That would be a fun name for a small time operator.

            Power In Numbers
Those big corporate conglomerates may have clout….but WE have NUMBERS! Just like one large group in a collaborative effort in a court case….we gather into one large CLASS ACTION MEDIA GROUP. 😀
