My rough calculations indicate that with a 9’8″ long 1″ diameter copper pipe, 350 uH would tune you down to around 1400 KHz. If you use 1500, 1600 or 1700 you might try unwinding 10, 17 or 24 turns to get a match.
At $3.95 each these will be hard to resist.

Basis and purpose
This site was created because of your author’s long-time fascination and involvement with FCC Part 15 legal low-power radio operations. While there are many excellent resources and station listings on the Internet for low-power radio in general, including
TIS/HAR, etc., e.g.
Terry Krueger’s Florida Low Power Radio Stations
to name a few) there is essentially nothing specifically and solely dealing with those tiny radio stations permitted under the Federal Communications Commission’s Part 15 Rules as unlicensed, but legal operations.
Since there are many excellent resources available online for both illegal Pirate Radio or Microradio and for licensed, TIS/HAR type operations, these type stations are not covered here; this site is strictly for those operations which can be classified as authorized under the various subsections of 47 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations), Part 15.
It is hoped that this site will serve to inform both potential listeners and DXers and those contemplating operating their own Part 15 stations, as well as helping to popularize legal low power radio.

A coalition of webcasters have worked out a deal with the recording industry that could temporarily stave off a portion of crippling net radio royalties set to take effect Sunday, according to people familiar with the negotiations. The deal is not final but creates a window for webcasters to continue broadcasting while a more lasting solution is sought. Webcasters have said the fees would effectively force many services that personalize individual channels for listeners to close shop by the end of the weekend. For now, the parties involved in what’s described as ongoing negotiations have agreed to waive at least temporarily the minimum charge of $6,000 per channel required under a scheme created by the Copyright Royalty Board, or CRB. The deal, brokered late Thursday, is not final and could change. One person involved in the talks described the situation as a reprieve, and said that “internet radio won’t be saved until a workable royalty rate is set.”
