Audio so clean

December 4, 2014 by rock95seven

you could eat off of it.

I was finally able to clean up the audio of the Blue Bucket Am Transmitter.
How? I have no clue! Really! All i did was move the bucket around, it is pretty much in the same place it was the day i set this thing up in the yard. Now to work on getting more range out of this thing.

Hear for yourself, i used no processing during this broadcast.

    Real Grit

Wow, Rock95, you did something very right, that audio jumps out and is very pleasant to hear.

You obviously know how to get a modulation circuit to do what you want!

The Blue Bucket Sound is a winner.

      Thank You Carl

I have much work to do but as for the audio i am going to leave that alone.
In other news, Blue Bucket Radio has a new announcer who is 3 years old!

Last night my little girl recorded a short liner for the station, it had to do some editing where i coached her a bit but it has aired on the radio already. Start ’em young! lol

    Busted!

For posting copyrighted music in the sound file i posted here. Seems Soundcloud is just like the FCC, they only enforce the rules when someone complains and i guess someone over there did just that. I was sent an email through my Soundcloud account saying that the file was blocked for copyright violations. Funny thing, well ok maybe not so funny, but there are thousands of remixes on Soundcloud.com that people have uploaded that are using copyrighted materials. So are they picking on me or are they feeling the heat from the companies that control this kind of stuff? I may never know the answer, but i made sure that if i had anything else on my account that was considered taboo that too would be deleted. It’s a strange strange world we live in.

Edited: I guess i could have posted dead air. That isn’t claimed yet , is it?

      Sort of Unpleasant

Having the entities we support and spend money on act as spies and swat teams to interfere with us is not good business.

There should be an inquiry to see whether we have a justifiable reason for posting audio.

They seem to accept the word of the accuser without giving us a voice.

Makes a guy feel like Bill Cosby.

        Quick-Say Something…

Actually, it seems to me someone did put out an album that had one track of nothing but silence.

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if you had to pay royalties for dead air!

        That wasn’t off-topic was it?

          Family Heirloom

Dead air has been in my family for generations.
