The next regular meeting of The ALPB will be Saturday, August 17th at 9:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.
We have had a few people request info about the ALPB in the last week, expressing an interest in joining the group. I hope to see (or rather hear) them at the meeting.
If you haven’t joined yet, check out thealpb.com for links to The ALPB Charter and TeamSpeak 3 Client download. Then let me know you would like to become a member and I will email the TeamSpeak server address and password to you.
All we ask is that you read and agree with our Charter, install the TeamSpeak app so you can join the meetings and then just show up! No dues, no commitments! Just fun discussions with people interested in license free, low power broadcasting.
Maybe Or Not
I was thinking of suggesting a “Perfect Attendance Award” for Johny C., but that might seem unfair to the rest who may have missed a meeting here or there. The “meeting missers” could never catch up and get a “perfect attendance award.”
So, forget it.
I can never catch up now..
..because it turns out we will be traveling one last time this weekend. After this I expect to return to a more normal schedule.

It’s Meeting Time and I can’t get the Team Speak to connect!
Oh, good, it started working! Everything’s fine.
Windows Forced Update…
Yes, a forced update caused the server to reboot and I didn’t notice until trying to start the meeting. Restarting TeamSpeak Server the meeting went on without a hitch.
I hope no one was turned away when they couldn’t connect.
