A Typical Sherman Radio Day For Me

July 17, 2011 by ABMedia1

i go to bed at 8 or 8:30 PM the night before and i rise and shine at 2 AM (Yeah Thats Right 2 AM!)and i watch 5 news programs and get the news typed up on the computer which takes about 2 1/2 hours to do, and just before 6 AM Sign on and get the paper and deejay until 10 AM. i play the newest music, personalilty is Very Important and give news and information and to provide a healthy and entertaining balance in the morning and keeping the audience very company in the morning. people say the early morning hours are full of life on the radio. That is very true if the dj has the right of mind key important things i listed above will help draw the audience and bring ratings. Were are the only Part 15 Radio Station In Grayson County, Texas and it isn’t easy getting up early and doing a show but i make the best of it every Tuesday And Thursday of every week 6-10 AM. so if your in West Sherman Particually inbetween The Rehab Center Washington Street, Houston-Lamar Street and Highway 75. Be Sure to Lock Your Radio Dial To 88.7 K-DSX Radio!

    Sounds Good
The station you describe “sounds good” in a manner of speaking, even though I have never heard it.

Can you start a stream for us “out of towners?”

      yea
Yeah I Can Put that in the budget book for the station but it would at least be six months or so until i can stream on the internet i can try to get some sponsors that can help me (like a local restraunt, Vintage electronics shop i know who work there in my neck of the woods) so sometime after christmas givertake and by then ill have a phone number too after i buy it.

But for Now You Have to be in West Sherman, Texas to Get the signal but in the nighttime the signal can be heard father than in the daytime where the coverage is directional.

Im Sorry Guys yall cant listen online but the second i get the equipment i will give yall the ip address to listen in or give yall my website and listen

      PS Nice Question BTW

        No Worries
No Worries, it took me 3 years to finally start streaming.

Good to see Part 15 is alive and well in North Texas.

As for Part 15 FM radio,
we’re the only two in the area!

        So keep those frequencies modulated!

            plus 2 1670’s and possibly a 1610.

            The big one..
The biggest 1650 in the Area is KLSR,
which covers all of Lake Ray Hubbard,
            with just one Rangemaster.

Something about water just stretches our little signals!
