When I first dabbled with listening to computer radio stations I happened upon a talk show coming from Pahrump, Nevada, call letters KPAH. The style of the talk was very home-spun with regular people talking about town business.
Then I got to know other funny original KPAH programs, like “The I Can’t Sleep Show” and “Missy Love Lorn’s Advice Program.”
I was soon to learn that the antenna on a 60-foot tower was a part 15 station, sharing space with amateur radio equipment, but run with all the style and town involvement of a full station, their big foot in the door being their stream at Live-365.
Now the station is trying something new. Their radio stream is on the audio portion of a UStream channel, so they in essence have a combination radio-tv station.
