Normal part15ers listen to their own stations, and when programming comes in from podcasts and networks it can get quite interesting. Last night, listening to KDX 1680, the program was “Agenda 21” from “Rule of Law Radio Network” in Austin, Texas (which I’ve blogged about before) and the subject turned to Part 15 low power radio! For one thing, The Rule Network has very smartly expanded itself through a growing affiliates list of part 15 stations all across the Nation. “Agenda 21” comes from Scottsboro, Alabama and just purchased a part 15 transmitter which they said was in a corner of the room waiting to be hooked up. Their caller was from Liberty 1640 in Sioux Falls, perhaps one of the most ambitious part 15 enterprises of all, with (I think they said) 15 transmitters all over town with more to come. The caller said that Keith Hamilton the inventor of the Hamilton Rangemaster was working on a GPS device to synchronize multiple transmitters and I hope I’m breaking the story first here at part15.us.
