There is a rich reverb on the signal.

Does this help make talk FM more listenable ?

I know AM stations used it all the time.

I guess it makes people feel like they are listening to the person speak in an auditorium??

Strange morse code choir on shortwave, could it be a sign?

Was scanning the bands last night and came across the first ever performance of a choir in morse code

Just wondering about this .

Was there like some sort of magical time warp device?

Or was there just not a need for a dump button back in the golden age of radio?

Maybe if someone cursed, they would just be fired right away?

I recently heard the four letter S word twice on a pre recorded interview that the producer didn’t bother to preview before airing. Funny thing was no one dumped it. This was on a big gun AM station in the mid Atlantic region.

The host then came on afterwards and apologized. I wonder if they got fined.

The caller started off ok, she was supposed to be talking about the xray body scanners, then had a meltdown and began some hotheaded speech about how her luggage got lost at the airport

The caller started off ok, she was supposed to be talking about the xray body scanners, then had a meltdown and began some hotheaded speech about how her luggage got lost at the airport

then she said it “and i went up to their manager and i said to em, don’t give me that bullshit”

the host and i started at each other, and i smacked the red button dump button

then i told the host to say bye to her

next time she calls, i’m gonna give her a piece of my mind

later we listened to the audio and all laughed at the part where she got dumped

the transitions are always priceless
