Take a look at this. Some Part 15 AM Operator (Daniel Brown) siding with AM Digital and wants his “Hobby AM Station” to become null and void? That’s the way I see what he wants, perhaps? This came in my Radio World Email this morning. Do you know what I’m thinking? Link is…[Read more]
Isn’t it a “Rip Off” that the ad agencies don’t want us? We still too buy goods and services too!
WABC makes it across North America with a 50,000 Watt, Non Directional Signal that can make it to Los Angeles, California, providing no interference is on 770. I’m in the east part of the Country, and I remember when WABC and WLS in Chicago…[Read more]
Hi Tim, Got a quick question, and maybe Mark might want to weigh in. I recall you said your Chez Procaster is outside, mounted on a mast pole. I talk with my Consultant Engineer, he is saying to use EMT Electrical Conduit, 10′ Sections. These can be bought at Home Depot or Lowes. I already have purchased a 10′ × 1/2″ Galvanized…[Read more]
Another thing, you may know about it, 770 WABC in New York, NY. has brought back music back on, Saturday Nights. Cousin Bruce is on with Old Rock-n-Roll from 6 to 10 pm, and Tony Orlando is on 10 pm to 12 am. Tony plays 70s music, my era as a kid into my teen years. I love that.
I hope WABC can keep “MusicRadio 77” on Saturday Nights and…[Read more]
It’s 11:00 PM here and I just got your reply, so I’ll make this one kinda of quick because I didn’t sleep good last night.
It so bothers me that Michelle says she supported Part 15 AM and FM. I take it she went to FCC Head Commissioner Ajit Pai, under the President Donald Trump Administration during the Lockdown of the Pandemic and met…[Read more]
Go to the link below at the end of this post. It’s from the Radio World Article that came out this morning. Maybe the reason why you did hear back from Michelle is because in the United States, she is a huge LPFM Avocate. I’m for LPFM too, but not at the expense of killing the AM Band. I’m surprised the CRTC in Canada has not even…[Read more]
I’ve been reading Radio World. Looks like Michelle Bradley, Larry Wilkins, and the NAB want to push this AM Digital thing.
What makes feel down is I spent all this money on a Chez Procaster, decided a permanent place to put it, which is outside next to my storage building, that is on a upper part of my property.
They claim the car…[Read more]
Trust me, Family Radio will have WFME-AM back on. They didn’t pay ABC/Disney all that money in I think 2015 for nothing. All Family Radio is doing is looking for another piece of property to rebuild the transmitter site. They got great money for the property the WFME-AM site is on now.
WARNING TO ALL: 1560 WFME-AM is a United States, Class A,…[Read more]
We’ll, I have nothing to loose. Remember, I’m retired from owning a Licensed AM Radio Station and all the stress of bringing in money to pay bills, a bank note on the property, the FCC’s Regulatory Fees, in the United States, it’s a mess. Now, if your a owner of a “Stand Alone” AM Station without a FM Translator, your screwed because now the…[Read more]
I spoke to my Consultant Engineer/Advisor who is a SBE Member. Michelle Bradley can’t do it alone in Washington, D.C. It is going to take a high powered FCC Attorney to file a Rule Making in my behalf with a few others that might want to join in. This will cost money I don’t think any of us have. The CRTC (Canada) will most likely go along…[Read more]
O.K. The United States has gone through an Administration Change and Democrats run the House and half of The Senate. Some of the FCC’s main five heads at the top are gone, including Commissioner Pai, who played “Politics” with big time broadcasters and a certain FCC Attorney, who in my mind hates the little broadcasters, yes he hates even the…[Read more]
Oh no, I don’t have Covid! Covid has calmed down here somewhat and we don’t go out anywhere. My problems has been going on for many months now!
That is interesting, you cut the wire shorter and it tuned up for 1500! Wow, that is very interesting! I have the aluminum pole that Procaster comes with. I had a thought of taking a heavier gage copper…[Read more]
I’ve been sick for a few weeks. My Birthday will be May 7th. Anyhow, that is good news you made your Procaster work on 1500 instead of 1630, and you have the same coverage.
Here in the United States, we have what is know as the “Class C” Channels, or was known formally as the old “Class IV” Local Channels the FCC developed back in the…[Read more]

<p style=”text-align: left;”>While I don’t have my Procaster in a permanent place yet, At the beginning of 2021, I had talked to Gerry at Procaster. He told me this, and the manual does say that trying to use channels 1610 and down won’t work as well. It’s sad that many of these chinese manufactured radios,…[Read more]
<p style=”text-align: left;”>First off, Leave the lady alone with those stations where you live. She is not a Engineer. Her dad sort of was. She has had a very hard time since her Dad passed away, leaving her with the responsibility of running what you call “The Mom and Pop” Stations in your Hometown. “I’ve known her Engineer for years…[Read more]
To Mark and others,
I’m not trying to cause trouble, but I know very well who Mr. RFCC is. He has slammed me on another radio social media board. I think the man is just jealous of me, but he shouldn’t be because I am in poor health, disabled, lost my small business just before the Pandemic hit. My wife and me were talking, it was for the best we…[Read more]
